Jasmine L. Mitchell, MPH, PMP, CHES

Jasmine L. Mitchell, MPH, PMP, CHES, serves as the Policy Fellow in the Policy and Advocacy Department. In this role she monitors maternal health legislation, develops policy evaluation resources, and collaborates with partners and stakeholders to support policies that promote reproductive justice, health equity, and improved outcomes for Black birthing people and their communities.

As a public health leader, policy advocate, and project management professional, Jasmine brings more than a decade of experience advancing health equity and improving community health outcomes. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Saint Louis University and a Master of Public Health from Mercer University. Her experience spans federal, state, nonprofit, and healthcare organizations. Passionate about early intervention and reproductive justice, she is committed to advancing meaningful systems change through evidence-based solutions that strengthen families and communities.

Outside of work, Jasmine is a proud mother to her daughter and enjoys traveling, live music, painting, and roller skating. She values quality time with family and friends and believes that meaningful connections provide inspiration and balance in her life.
