This webinar will address root causes of disparities in black maternal health outcomes and will highlight how the medicalization of childbirth has complicated and marginalized black midwifery in the United States. Challenges and opportunities for Black midwives today will also be explored as we look to traditional and holistic care models as solutions for the maternal mortality crisis.
