Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations requests must be made in writing and e-mailed to conference@blackmamasmatter.org.  No refunds will be issued for cancellation of Conference registration or Opening Soirée – NO EXCEPTIONS. However, you may transfer your Conference registration to another individual or member of your organization. Requests for registration transfers must be made in writing and submitted to conference@blackmamasmatter.org by Friday, November 16, 2018.

Registration Confirmation

Registrant will receive a confirmation email once registration is complete. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please email conference@blackmamasmatter.orgto determine the status of your registration.

Please do not book nonrefundable airline tickets without confirmation that your registration has been received and processed. BMMA is not responsible for airfares booked before confirmation is received.

Consent and Release Statement

Portions of the 2018 Black Maternal Health Conference and Training Institute may be recorded for noncommercial, promotional and educational purposes. By registering to attend the Conference and in connection with my participation in the Conference, I consent to the use of my name, voice, photograph, video or other likeness in the promotional and other materials of the Conference without payment or other consideration made to me. I waive the right to inspect or approve any such use of my name, likeness or voice. I expressly release the Conference sponsors, their trustees, officers, agents, employees, licensees, and assignees, from any and all claims, including copyright, privacy, and defamation arising out of any broadcast, exhibition, publication, or promotion of this Conference. I understand that the Conference may also be available on the sponsors’ web sites in live and archived formats.
